Best time of year to visit: Year round, although it can get hot in the summer so check the weather forecast before you go
Features of the park: One of the largest groves of Western sycamores in the country, an impressive nature area, and flowing water (in some parts of the park) year-round, thanks to the controlled release of water from the Del Valle reservoir into the Arroyo del Valle.
Fees: $8 parking fee; an annual pass is available for purchase from Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD)
